I've uploaded a new version of Hounds of the Tsar that features a completely new layout in zine format that I think will be a bit easier for reference and use at the table. A lot of the artwork has been updated to give the game a more consistent look throughout. If you prefer the look and feel of the original layout, there are very few changes to the actual content, so you can continue using it without feeling like you're missing out. The one exception is a new sample adversary: the zmei, the multi-headed, firebreathing dragon of Slavic folklore. It's a legendary foe for truly legendary heroes, so use it at your own risk!

My primary reason for doing the new layout was because the original game was laid out in a format that made it almost impossible to do a viable print run. This new layout is in an easy-to-print and distribute zine format (the same size as Weirdwood and Augmented), so I'm making plans to do a print run at some point in the near future. Not sure if I'll be using Kickstarter again or if I'll try to experiment with another platform.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this new edition of the game. Hounds of the Tsar is a near and dear project for me, so I'm excited to share a new version of it that puts it in the best light possible.
