AUGMENTED has received a slight...er...augmentation over the last few days. While nothing about the core game has changed, I've added some material to the rulebook to provide players with more resources to get games underway with little to no preparation. Being able to run a session of AUGMENTED within minutes of opening the book is a really important design priority for me, but I recognize that playing an RPG on the fly can be a daunting challenge for some groups. That's why I've added some additional guidance and lists to spark ideas and keep the game moving forward. The new material has expanded the book from its original 20 pages to 28 pages.

The core rulebook does not contain any setting information behind a few hints and suggestions. I do plan on releasing a small supplement that provides groups with an example setting for their campaigns if they don't want to create their own.

I'm looking forward to March 30 and getting AUGMENTED into people's hands (virtually speaking). Someone asked me on Twitter recently if there are plans for a physical release, and at this point the answer is "Maybe." I don't want to commit to another print run of a game before WEIRDWOOD ships out to Kickstarter backers, but if there is interest in a physical version of AUGMENTED, I would love to make it happen.
